Dreghorn Sheltered Housing Paths Gritted

Posted on Friday 16th December 2011 13:00 by Gordon Bain

We were recently out delivery our lastest Focus news letter to the residents of Dreghorn with councillor Ruby Kirkwood. This was a very cold and ice day with walking conditions very difficult.

During this vist we came across a sheltered housing complex just off of Townfoot that had not been gritted leaving the paths very slippy and dangerous for the elderly local residents. Councillor Kirkwood quickly phoned the council department to report this issue and we are please to let you know that they where quick to respond and all the paths in the area were gritted.

If you have any local issues you feel your local Liberal Democrat team could help with please don't hesitate to get in contact.

We are here working for you all year round.
