That’s why the Liberal Democrats in the UK Government have delivered a guaranteed decent
increase in the state pension every year – up £4.50 a week this year.
No child detention
For ten years the children of families looking for refuge in Scotland were detained for
months on end at special jail at Dungavel in Lanarkshire. But thanks to the efforts of
Liberal Democrats in the UK Government this unacceptable practice has been stopped.
