Stuart Gardiner

Stuart thinks that the work done to transform Kilwinning town centre has been fantastic for the town. However many residents don't feel safe visiting this area of the town in the evenings, especially at the weekend. Stuart wants to see a more visible police present to reassure local residents. He is also very concerned about the changes being forced upon James Watt College which will see a reduction in staff numbers and places available on the courses the college provides.

Stuart was born in 1985 and has lived and worked within North Ayshire since moving to the area from Inverness as a young child. He lives with his wife, Amanda in Kilwinning.

Stuart attended James Watt College in Kilwinning before moving into full time employment. He has spent the last six years working for a couple of local retailers.

In his spare time Stuart enjoys working on home improvements and helping friends and family with their DIY projects. He also enjoys going out for dinner with his wife and watching films at the cinema.
